1911 T206 Sweet Caporal 350-460 Christy Mathewson Dark Cap

Description: Really high-end looking 1911 T206 Christy Mathewson with a Sweet Caporal 350-460 subjects factory 42 overprint back. Graded SGC 4 Vg-Ex. Card shows deep colors, excellent centering, and has uniform mild corner wear (just a touch worse on the bottom). However the only reason for the grade of 4 is a weak surface wrinkle on the back (from the "d" in Standard to the "e" in series). This is very difficult to see but we took a good photo at an angle to show you. This one presents far better than the technical grade and is at the top end of eye appeal for a 4 for sure!A wonderful "blue-chip" HOF card of maybe the best pitcher in history and member of the inaugural HOF class of 1936!
