Description: This is an original 1969 funeral booklet (see picture) from the service of HARRY G. STODDARD, an icon of WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS. Mr. Stoddard was President of Wyman & Gordon, a partner in the Worcester Telegram, and had a long affiliation with the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He passed away in 1969 at the age of 95. This funeral booklet, 12 pages in length, also includes a separate postcard-size message from Mr. Stoddard, entitled "To My Friends, One And All". This booklet is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 53 years. There is no handwriting in the booklet. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Harry Stoddard enthusiast, Worcester historian, or vintage funeral booklet collector in your life!
