If you use your personal actual measurements, you should always figure needing two inches extra for breathing room. Label- Saks 5th Avenue. Closes with plastic buttons on the cardigan. The top has a back plastic zipper. The skirt has an elastic waist. There is one fabric belt tie and the top has loops for that. Fabric is 100% cashmere. It is medium weight. Very soft and fuzzy. The skirt is lined and has a strip of stabilizing nylon around the hem. I show the inside of this in a photo. The top and cardigan are not lined. ConditionThis is a quality made set. The skirt lining and the strip of stabilizing nylon around the hem testify to that. I show a photo of a small repair done on the cardigan, close to the armhole. I show back and front views and it is mainly only visible from the back. This cashmere is very soft and furry. It likes to pill up. I removed most of them, but they are a side effect of this fabric. The sides of the cardigan look like they once had loops for a belt, but are missing. You can still use the belt on the cardigan if you want. What Diane Likes About This OutfitThe 1970s really identified with the 1920s. It could have been the similarities between the freedom for women that both decades enjoyed. This has the long and lean look that was popular in the 20s. If you added a saucy beret, you could be channeling Bonnie of Bonnie and Clyde fame. I really like the subtle and chic chevron pattern. You can break up the pieces and use them as separates easily, but I like the whole, put together look.I will caution that this soft cashmere is a tactile pull that some people may not be able to resist. Small babies will fall asleep instantly in your arms. If adult beverages are being consumed while wearing this, you should make sure to be in company you are comfortable with, because this fabric is a tactile magnet.
