The Mint released this set in 1994 as part of the Prestige set series that ran from 1983 to 1997. They were basically regular proof sets with the inclusion of any Commemorative coins that were released that year. In this 1994 set it includes all the regular proof coins from 1994, and then also includes the 1994-S World Cup Soccer Commemorative 90% Silver Dollar and 1994-P World Cup Soccer Half Dollar -- 7 coins in all! This set comes housed in the original government case, which is a very nice felt case made to look like a book, outer box, and certificate of authenticity.The coins in this set are in great shape! They all have that gorgeous mirror image and frosty deep cameo reliefs you expect from high quality proof coins. The Dollar has a tiny bit of rim ghost toning, which is very common for proof coins from this era, but overall they're all very nice. This set is a very nice way to get the two World Cup Soccer Set AND a 1994 proof set all in one shot! Thanks!
