42 inch waist 1940s French vintage MOLESKIN workwear pants faded blue trousers

Please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk ~*~ So much love in this gorgeous pair of vintage French moleskin pants, c. 1940. they are A very very soft pair! Heavyweight cotton moleskin ~ These garments were widely used throughout the French countryside in the late 19th and early 20th century and can still be seen today. At the crotch of these pants you can see there is a hand stitched gusset either added for additional comfort or to repair wear! This great pair of pants has two side pockets, a key pocket hidden at the front waistband, one back pocket and one knife pocket on the back of the right leg. There are also four decorative buttons~ two in the front and two at the back waistband~ These still have so much life left to give and would be great worn as is or cut guilt free to create something entirely new! MEASUREMENTS : These pants measure approximately: 40 inches long 28 inch inseam 40 inch waist 15 inch rise CONDITION : These lovely pants are in as found, not freshly laundered condition.
