Remove and discard the OEM 2-3 shift valve. 2. Retain all other OEM bore components. Installation / Assembly Steps: 1. Drill through the indicated casting wall with a 1/8" drill bit OR make a notch in the gasket surface at the same location. (This provides D3 oil to apply overrun clutch in all manual gears.) 2. Install the Sonnax replacement valve, using the photo (see Figure 1) for proper orientation.
