AKRIS Vintage Ivory Basketweave Belted Jacket for Bergdorf Goodman SZ10 NWT

Description: This lightweight jacket from Akris made exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman is the perfect accessory piece to add charm to a Spring or Summer outfit, or to serve as a top all by itself. The jacket has short raglan sleeves, a soft wide collar, and two patch pockets. It closes with three oversized ivory-colored buttons. It is not lined (except for the sleeves), but the front of the jacket is double-faced, and all of the interior seams are folded French seams. The self-fabric belt has a big ivory-colored tension buckle. Because the retail tag is computer generated, I'm going to date this jacket to the 1990s, so am surprised there is no attached fabric label. My best guess is that it's wool or a wool blend with a basketweave texture, although at first gance you might think it's cotton. As is often the case, the best depiction of the color and texture of the jacket are seen in the last photo with the label. Size 10 is printed on the Bergdorf Goodman label, and the measurements indicate it is plenty big enough for a size 10, and could possibly work for a size 12.
