Description: Antique Crown Derby Girl with Lamb Shepherdess Figurine. This is a simply charming example of early Crown Derby porcelain with the mark indicating it was made at the Nottingham factory between 1782-1825. The little shepherdess is holding and gazing lovingly down at a lamb. The figure is 7” high. Although it presents beautifully there is evidence of an old repair around the middle of her back and looping down the front of her chest. This is not obvious until inspected closely.It looks to me like a factory correction but it could be a professionally done repair from long ago. There are a few small chips to the leaves at her feet. Otherwise she is in good condition and displays well
