The plate features pink poppies in all stages of bloom with foliage. It is trimmed in heavy gold around the fancy border rim. The backside is marked with the green under-glaze “Limoges inside a 7 point star (Coiffe - Mark 3) and Limoges / France” and the green over-glaze “Coronet Crown Limoges / France” decorating mark. Both marks help to date this plate to around 1906 to 1920. The plate is in excellent antique condition with the exception of some wear to some of the poppy flowers near the lower sections of the border (see photographs). These are noticeable only under close and careful examination. The is also some very slight, gold wear around the border. This is not bad, but we mention it for accuracy. The plate is very decorative and shows well on a stand inside a cabinet or a shelf. Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details. It is not included in the sale of this item. Measurements: The plate measures approximately 10” across in diameter. It stands approximately 1” off the table at the rim. This item weighs approximately 1 lb. All measurements are approximate, but close. Condition: We carefully examined this item. As mentioned in the description, some wear was noted to the poppy flowers around the border (see photographs). There is some faint, minor wear to the heavy gold border; not distracting, but please observe these in our photographs to be sure they are not objectionable to you. Other than that, NO Chips, Cracks, Hairlines, Scratches, Crazing, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details.
