Description: VERY RARE Victorian 14ct Rose Rolled gold Albert watch chain Necklace and a beautiful fob locket with four little rubies attached on a long suspension drop , this is from my private collection. Looks GORGEOUS on . The chain Is Curb link and hefty and weighs app 21 grams.. Nice SOLID CHUNKY CHAIN .the fob locket is suspended from .a lovers knot motife .all original to the chain so hard to find these antique chains these days all intact, and tests as solid gold , which these motifes often were, RARE ** ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 9ct GOLD RG FOXTAIL MUFF & GEORGIAN MOP CROSS 134.5cm 53” i am so thrilled to offer this beautiful Victorian 9ct gold cased belcher link muff Chain from my private collection and the chain is 84cm or 33” long..a perfect long length for an elegant look. Its a beautiful buttery yellow gold hue . HISTORY & HALLMARKS & ORIGIN Era: victorian watch chain Circa 1900 and stone pendant 1920 Origin: UK belcher link guard chain , stone pendant USAHallmarks: none noted but has Hecord stamped on fob swivel the pendant is marked 12k gf , in regards tomthe watch chain prior to 1907 hallmarks were not required on gold. Tests as 9ct gold and is was sold to me as gold cased .. common among the wealthy in England long ago. and its excellent antique condition is a testament to its quality Sizing: MUFF CHAIN . The chain is just under 135cm or 53” long and lovely foxtail links or 33” wearable length . It has faux pearls and coral stones and paste rondelles at intervals along the chain The fob swivel is large and has great tension and spring Fob Drop : is a Georgian Era Mother of Pearl Cross and measures 3.5cm or 1 3/8” long by 2cm or 3/4” wide Weight: weighs 22 grams..nice weight indeed! SUMMARY In overall excellent antique condition . As stated the chain links are all gold soldered foxtail links .it has not been polished for many years and has that beautiful aged patina …as i do not polish unless specifically requested as antique dealers buy from me and prefer them as they are . I test all diamonds and stones and gold with electronic testers, but prior to 1907 gold was not required to be hallmarked. All gemstones will test the same whether they are natural or manmade except for diamonds .
