Description: Manufacturer's Description We’ve collaborated with local tattoo artist Kyle Oxford to deliver a limited edition artwork series of four of our classics. These fun designs feature traditional tattoo artistry layered over some of our best-selling effects, including the Sabbra Cadabra, SFT, Katzenkönig, and RAH. In 1970 Led Zeppelin hit the stage of London's historic concert hall, Royal Albert Hall. We love the RAH performance and were inspired by a friend to capture it in a pedal. At this performance Jimmy Page expressed himself masterfully with a broad pallet of tones and GIANT dynamic range. Of course this has a lot to do with Page’s playing technique and Gibson Les Paul. His backline amps, custom Hiwatt heads into Marshall cabinets filled the entire hall with a cornucopia of colors at levels ranging from a mouse whisper to rave ups louder than a jumbo jet taking off only inches over your head. TREBLE: The Treble control handles high frequencies. On the Jimmy Page Hiwatt, it may seem subtle at first, but adjusting the Bass and Middle makes it more pronounced. For example, boosting the Bass and lowering the Middle increases Treble’s impact. Start with Treble at noon and adjust for the desired brightness or attack. MASTER: This controls the output volume. For the best response, set it just past unity volume — typically around noon. (Unity volume means the volume with the pedal on is about the same as when the pedal is off. MIDDLE: The Middle control shapes midrange frequencies, crucial for a balanced tone. Lowering it creates a scooped sound, while increasing it adds warmth and body. Start at noon and adjust to dial in the right amount of midrange presence. BASS: The Bass control manages low frequencies, adding fullness. On the Jimmy Page Hiwatt, it stays punchy without overwhelming the tone. Start at noon and adjust to find a balanced low end that complements the Treble and Middle settings. GAIN: This control corresponds to the 'Input Volume' control on the actual Page amp. The sweet spot for this control is between 3 o'clock and max for a more Zep-like response. However, for a cleaner sound, or if your guitar has particularly hot pickups, you may want to try lower gain settings. POWER SUPPLY The RAH runs on 9 volts DC, negative ground only, either from a battery or the DC jack.
