UV Resistant Tear Resistant Abrasion Resistant Cold Weather Resistant(Cold Crack uptill -32 Degree C) Fire Retardant (meets the flammability requirements defined in CPAI-84:1995 Clause 3.2) Optically Clear Tarps that are wider than the raw material used to make the tarp will require at least one seam. Seams are generally heat welded with a overlap so (for solid tarps) seams are completely waterproof and they are as strong as the rest of the tarp. The Clear Vinyl Tarp will have creases due to folding. These will smoothen out naturally over time. However you can smooth out any wrinkles faster by placing the tarp out in the sun or using a hair dryer. We recommend rolling the tarp when not in use in order to prevent wrinkles. ***Please allow the tarp to warm up to room temperature before unfolding the first use for best performance.*** When you receive our Mytee Clear Vinyl Tarp, you may notice a light-blue hue on it - don't panic! Our Clear Vinyl Tarps are designed with a light blue hue on purpose! This tint is more pronounced when it is folded up; but it's not visible when the tarp is unfolded and in use. The light blue hue protects your clear vinyl tarps from UV degradation over years of usage and prevents discolouration (light yellow or foggy discoloration from UV exposure). You can further protect your Clear Vinyl Tarps by using proper procedure when storing them for non-use! Cut Size vs Actual Size for Clear Vinyl Tarps: All our Clear Vinyl tarps are hand made and cut-size is going to differ from the listed size by upto 2% or 6". We strive to get as close as possible to the actual size but this is often impossible due to different fabric stretching and machines involved in the manufacturing process. Heavy Duty Clear Vinyl Tarp Our clear vinyl tarp is crafted from thick, high quality vinyl material. It is heavyweight 22 oz vinyl tarp, with a thickness of 24 mm. The vinyl is tear resistant, abrasion resistant, and crafted to stand the test of time in the harshest weather conditions. With a cold crack rating of -32 degrees Celsius, this tarp will hold up even in the harshest winter conditions. Better yet, it also works great in the summer for blocking out harsh UV rays. Just like all of our other tarps, this one is completely waterproof. Basically this tarp will stand up to all external weather conditions whether it be snowing, raining, or a beautiful sunny day. It does all of this while being completely optically clear, so you can see right through it. The tarps thickness also blocks off airflow, meaning this tarp can insulate a space from cold air. 22oz Vinyl Waterproof Insulation The heavyweight 22oz vinyl is 24mm thick. It is abrasion and tear resistant. Whether it be rain or snow, liquids will not penetrate this tarp. Many of our customers use this tarp to insulate outdoor spaces from wind and cold air. Cold Crack Rating: -32C Fire Retardant Grommets Galore Resistant to freezing and cracking in the coldest winter weather. Meets the flammability requirements defined in CPAI-84:1995 Clause 3.2 Grommets are placed on each side of the tarp every 2 feet for flexibility.
