Major Damage: In some instances, damage may occur during the shipping process. To ensure you are protected, inspect the items very closely upon receipt. Do not personally sign or have another person sign for the item if you have not inspected and approved that the equipment is damage free. Once you sign, you have accepted that product As Is, and the trucking company is no longer liable. If there is Major Damage to your order note the damage on the Bill of Lading from the driver and refuse the shipment. Please contact us and a replacement will be sent out. If there are minor scratches or dings on the unit that you deem acceptable, you may accept the delivery but be sure to note the scratches or dents on the bill of lading before you sign for and accept the shipment. Concealed Damage: This is any damage found after accepting the shipment. In some cases, the equipment may be damaged in transit and the boxes may still look ok. It is best to remove all shipping boxes when receiving the shipment. If the driver does not allow this and damage is suspected, refuse the shipment and a replacement will be sent out. Once the shipment is accepted, unwrap and unbox all items to check for damage. We have 48 hours after the shipment is accepted to report concealed damage. Contact us as soon as possible if concealed damage is found. As long as it is reported in this 48-hour time frame a replacement can be sent out and the damaged unit(s) can be returned. Prior to scheduling an installation date, ensure that all the material has been received and is in good shape. Returns Refunds will be granted if the item is returned in the same condition as shipped "NEW and in the original packaging". For any item that is returned and is either not in the original packaging or is damaged in any way, the Customer will be partially refunded at HVAC Warehouse's discretion of revised resale value. Refunds will be granted for items that have been shipped and received within 30 days of the shipment receipt date. Warranty Up-to-date warranty information can be found on the manufacturer's website. Most all Goodman equipment comes with a 5-year parts warranty out of the box that can be extended to a 10-year full parts warranty by registering the installed equipment with Goodman. The equipment needs to be installed by a qualified technician. The warranty only covers the parts of the equipment installed. It does not cover labor or refrigerant associated with the repair.
