Description: THE OFF GRID STORE --> DESCRIPTION Green Tam-O-Shanter Cased Glass Shade 10" Fitter - New W.T. Kirkman Exclusive! 10″ Diameter Cased Green over Opal “Tam’O’Shanter” Glass Shade. Includes Polished Edges top and bottom. Shades are hand blown which is a complicated process including casing and blowing the glass in a mold. Each shade has small evidence of the process including small bubbles between layers of cased glass and light swirls of green glass. Shade Ring sold separately. Quality "A" vs. "B" Grade A Shades are over 3Lbs each. They are selected for their clarity, consistency, and darkness of color, and lack of flaws including bubbles, grain, and chipped edges. About 20% of the shades we receive meet these standards. Grade B shades average 2 1/2 Lbs. are still Good Quality Shades, but simply didn’t meet the strict requirements above.
