Well, it isn't ... and the seller wouldn't take it on return. I'm guessing it's acrylic -- lots of stretch. There's pilling, but easily pulled off. One 'kinda' flaw on the left arm, so look at the detailed photos of the arm length measurements. The yarn isn't severed ... just looks a bit pulled. I'll throw in a "lovingly worn" Icewear t-shirt, but it's adult XS so quite a bit smaller than the sweater. I have more sweaters (mostly \smaller than this one) and generally Icelandic/Nordic in style listed, so check them out. I can combine shipping. I'll attach a photo at the end of all of them together (including a "mini" lopapeysa which is for keeping alcohol warm at a football game).
