But Jecta is unique in that it absorbs and spreads through wood in structures where traditional BoraCare cannot be applied.For wood that has been painted, stained or is not easily accessible, Jecta is the perfect product.Jecta comes ready to use in a tube that can be loaded into a caulking gun style applicator. You may also need a drill to drill holes into wood where you want to inject Jecta.How to UseStep 1: Observe areas of the home for wood that is damaged or in need of treatment. These include areas where there is moist wood remains or is subject to frequent wetting, or wood in contact with the ground or soil.Step 2: Begin measuring the dimensions of the wood desired to be treated. Drill holes at a downward angle using charts on label to determine length and diameter of holes.Step 3: Inject Jecta through any wood surface coating and into voids, checks, cracks, pre-drilled holes, or injection sleeves designed for this purpose.Step 4: After injecting Jecta into the holes, seal with cork, plugs or wood putty. Wipe any excess product with damp cloth or sponge.Jecta was designed to be used in areas that BoraCare cannot easily be used in such as flooring and foundation systems; window and door frames; exterior steps porches and decks; roof trim and soffits; infested or susceptible support beams; porches and garages; fence posts; pilings and piers; log construction utility poles; railroad ties.Use Jecta when you have noticed woody decay, fungi or damage or have discovered areas vulnerable to termite infestation.Jecta has a low toxicity and is pet safe when used as directed.
