Description: This multi listing hosts some amazing New Old Stock Decals in their original glassine envelopes 1950s Lindgren -Turner Co., Lindgren Brothers and a couple knock offs but also from the 50s. The decals all came out of an album at an estate sale and are all water type application decals that can go on car windows, or any hard finish type luggage or opaque surfaces. I have screen grabbed and copied the instructions per the back of the envelope below. Please note that they are going on 70-75 years old and are being sold as collectibles rather than actual decals. I see no reason why they wouldn't still work as they are in beautiful condition but with dated materials it probably has a higher likelihood to fail. Buyer assumes all responsibility if it fails to adhere or comes apart in the process! Honestly you should do what the back of the envelope says, "Preserve your Decal collection in a DECALBUM (a decal album with waterproof pages)". Directions for Applying Dip entire decal in water for about 30 seconds (very cold water may make the lacquer brittle and crack). FOR GLASS place face of decal against the glass and squeegee with pencil or edge of card. Slide paper off and squeeze out any remaining bubbles and surplus water. SPONGE OFF ALL THE GUM FROM BACK OF DECAL TO PREVENT CHECKING OR CURLING. If applied on cars do not place on windshield or where it might impair driver's vision.
