Description: Very old Men's Antique 1880s VICTORIAN 14k GOLD FILLED SHELL Monogram SIGNET RING. There are a couple markings that are difficult to show in pictures, but the band is stamped 14k GOLD SHELL. with a makers mark that is indecipherable. So the ring is NOT solid 14k Gold, but rather a gold shell wrapped around a basemetal - usually gold shell has more actual gold then gold filled. I am unsure what the letters on the monogram are. In acceptable antique condition, there are signs of wear commensurate with its age. Scuffs dings etc, where the gold shell has worn away etc. See pictures.
