Description: Metal Wrapped Glass Trinket Box Bifocal with Hinged Lid that is Etched inside and out with Birds, Water, and Cattails. Measures approximately 4.25 inches high and 3 inches across. I would guess the lid was a lens with a bifocal section that has been repurposed. Might work for bug viewing??? Condition is used, good. Some surface scratches/nicks (see photos).
