This is a common problem with Surface Pro tablets, as I found out googling trying to find a solution. Solutions:1) Use the keyboard to wake up the tablet. You can attach the keyboard after the fact and it will still wake up. 2) Adjust power settings in control panel so that the tablet doesn’t automatically go to sleep.3) Last resort when you don’t have the keyboard charged or handy: hold down the volume up button and the power button simultaneously until the BIOS screen comes up, then let go of buttons and reboot.This is the only problem with this tablet.
