Dust Jacket: On the inner left flap there is some creasing on top edge and a couple tears in top left and on corner in top left with a missing piece and an area missing just under that on dust jacket and a small tear in bottom left corner of left inner flap. On same flap is a list of Nancy Drew books and this book is second from last on list and someone has written in pen numbers next to the book titles. On back inner dust jacket flap is a list of Dana girls mystery stories, in top right corner is a tear and a missing piece on that corner edge and a small dog ear in top left of back inner dust jacket flap, there is a mark near bottom left. On front cover of dust jacket there are a couple of deep creases in top right corner and a missing piece near top right corner edge and in exact top corner, in bottom left corner there is a tear, missing piece and crease and some roughness and creasing along bottom edge and bottom right corner of dust jacket front cover. On spine of dust jacket along the top edge, there is creasing, folding and small tears and missing pieces in left and right corners, yellowing along spine of dust jacket and a brown discoloration mark in bottom quarter and a crease across Dunlap and other creasing on edge and a tear and missing piece in bottom right corner and missing piece in bottom left corner of spine of dust jacket. On back cover of dust jacket there is a list of the Beverly Gray mystery stories, there is creasing along top edge and some tears and folding and missing pieces in all four corners of back cover of dust jacket and yellowing and some marks and in bottom corner there is a triangle shaped brown discoloration mark. Cover: On front cover of book there is a rough corner in bottom right adn in bottom left corner from corner to about an inch and a half there is a dark discoloration mark and a light mark on that probably all from water or liquid being on it at some point. On back spine area of cover there is some creasing on top and bottom edge and from bottom edge up to close to 2 inches there is grey and dark discoloration marks which appear to be from liquid being on it at some point. On back cover of book the top left and bottom left corners have some wear and bending, there is a dark mark near top left corner and some roughness in top right corner and in bottom left corner there is a triangle shaped area of darker discolored area that appears to be from liquid or water being on it and also a light colored area along bottom right edge and along bottom right side edge as well. Book Interior: Front end paper is yellowed and on the right there is the inked name of a previous owner with a date and a penciled in number and info. and a former price. On back end paper there is yellowing and some a penciled writing at top that says, "Book 18". There is dark yellowing throughout the book which could be reffered to as browning and mostly along edges of pages. On pages 56 and 57 there is a light colored mark near inner top on both pages and bottom 5/8 of center of pages there is separation where you can see the spine (see photo). There is a deep crease along inner edges of the pages, but just follows along the spine. There is a tear in bottom corners of pages 209-212, longest is on page 209 and is about 1 inch long. On page 215 about 3/4 to top along spine area this a puncture hole in that page. On back second to last page just before back end paper there is a list of Nancy Drew books that has this book as last book on the list and on that page along spine, the spine is visible and there area glue marks up and down spine area of this second to last page just before back end paper. Says 1941 in interior but this is a 1943 wartime printing. Please examine photos. Ready to Ship.
