Description: Hi I am selling some of my Xmas Tin collection that I have collected over the years. Here for sale is a Vintage Original WW1 Princess Mary 1914 Xmas Fund Tin with a Sterling Silver pencil and a greetings card from Princess Mary which is dated 1915. The 1915 cards are rarer. These very rare Sterling silver pencils were usually given to the officers at Xmas. The pencil is marked Sterling silver and also has markings to base and is monogrammed. The tin is an embossed brass box that originally contained a variety of items such as tobacco and chocolate and was given as a Christmas present to those serving at Christmas in 1914 and was paid for by a public fund backed by Princess Mary. The tin is in a used condition with signs of patina which is expected for an item over 100 years old. There are a couple of blemishes to outer tin and a split to one corner as per photos and the lid shuts. A lovely collectable item from WW1. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION AND SIZING AS THESE ARE PART OF MY DESCRIPTION. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. ONE OF MANY ITEMS FOR SALE ON MY EBAY SITE. I HAVE GIVEN AS MUCH INFO AS I CAN, ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION ON THIS ITEM WILL BE WELL RECEIVED. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. A GREAT COLLECTABLE ITEM. IF YOU REQUIRE ANY MORE PICTURES ETC, PLEASE ASK. INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE COST IS FOR OUTSIDE OF EUROPE. PLEASE ENQUIRY FOR COSTS TO EUROPE AND ANY AVAILABLE DIFFERENCE WILL BE REFUNDED. ALL ITEMS CAN BE COLLECTED IF REQUIRED.
