VF- condition. 1st printing of issue #1, and the VERY RARE error variant #18 are CGC graded and slabbed, greatly increasing their value! This collection includes EVERY rare error variant issue (except the #8 Karen Berger editorial variant. Sorry, that one's not for sale). #18 blue ink error variant is VERY RARE and comes CGC graded and slabbed (9.2). The first 3 frames are printed with blue ink instead of yellow, and it's valued at over $1000. #19 error variant has pages 18 & 19 switched. #50 variant has a different, black cover, celebrating the 50th issue. The 2nd printing of the final issue #75 is also very rare (it was only rumored to exist for several years until they started turning up) THE CATCH: I am not a professional grader, but I researched CGC grading and did my best to estimate their condition. Mainly, the comics just had a slight loss of color along the spine. Only a couple had small horizontal spine ticks less than 1/4" long or tiny scuff marks on the back cover. A few could be pressed to improve their grade even more. All the covers and artwork are still glossy, and most pages are still bright white! No tanning, no creases, no tears, no marks. All original posters are still attached to the spine inside their books, just like when purchased new. On average, the collection is probably VF to VF-. I took close-up pics of each comic, but the store wouldn't let me upload that many. Please feel free to ask for more pics. They've been packed in acid-free bags & boards the entire time I've owned them. Many have been read only once, the rest never read at all. Taking the pictures is the first time I've taken them out of their packaging. I have several copies of ALL issues from the Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman, including rare errors and variants! If you're looking for a particular individual issue and it's not in my store yet, please just contact me- I DO HAVE IT! It's just taking a while to list them all.
