With a 600 grit satin finish on the blade, the SG4 makes a great starting point for a superior quality finished piece. The SG4 knife kit comes with stainless bolsters and precision stainless pins. The blade blank is made from high-grade 440C stainless steel. The hardness is 56-58 rc.
