It is what is known as a Fender Special Run because the Candy Apple Red finish is not a standard finish for this bass. It was inspected by a team of factory authorized technicians. All electronics work as designed, the neck is straight, and the set up is to factory specs. When we polished the bass we did not find any finish blemishes, it is in new condition. I had a hard time getting the Candy Apple Red finish correct in the pictures. Most of the pictures were taken using photo lights, but I included two using the camera flash in an attempt to give a better idea of the finish. If you have seen Candy Apple Red finishes before this is right in that line, it is very eye catching.
