Description: Hi – I’m hoping that someone out there might happen to know something about the Miss Margrith Schwemmer to whom this envelope was addressed. When this was mailed, from Herrliberg, she lived at 6125 Glen Oak in Hollywood, California. Other covers from a couple of years earlier show her to have been at 1307 N. Bronson in Hollywood. Unlike on this cover, her first name on some of the other ones - mostly commonly - is Margaret… and occasionally it’s Margrit or Magarethe. Even Marguerite one time, I believe.A 1920 postcard places her in Zurich, and a 1925 postcard places her in Manhattan, New York City. Anyway, I haven’t been able to figure out anything about her online, so thanks for any help you might be able to provide…! Condition - there must have been a fourth stamp when this cover was postmarked, because almost half of the left-hand cancel is gone; open along top edge; sizable piece of the UL part of the flap is gone; creases/bends across the lower corners; mild soil.
