The Indestructo line was introduced as a silver Hotel Ware line for the upper end grand hotels of the time beginning in 1920 at the East Syracuse plant. These items were known for their durability. The company was out of business by 1945. E.P.N.S.B.M.M stands for Electro Plated Nickel Silver Base Metal Mounts.Model #1364The stamp on the bottom of this container is very worn and scratched but parts of the words "Benedict Indestructo" "E.R.N.S.B.M.M." "USA" and "1364" can be deciphered. This sugar bowl is heavily tarnished and scratched but solidly constructed with no brokenness. The hinge on the lid is in good working condition; with the lid easily opening and closing. Examine photos closely.
